The City of Bartlesville received the prestigious GFOA Distinguished Budget Award for its Fiscal Year 2006-2007, 2007-2008, and 2008-2009 Budget Presentations. In the prior year only 5 Oklahoma municipalities received this award.

The City of Bartlesville has received an unqualified opinion (most favorable opinion that can be received for an independent audit) for both its financial statement and federal grant audits for the last 6 completed audit years dating back to the fiscal year 2001-2002.
