MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT
Bartlesville is a charter city with a council/manager form of government. Council members are elected from each of five wards. The Mayor and Vice Mayor are elected by the council. Wards 1, 3 and 5 began serving four year terms in May 2007; Wards 2 and 4 will began serving four year terms in May 2009.

The council meets the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone, Bartlesville, OK 74003.  These meetings are open to the public and are televised on Cableone Channel 13. Webcast is also available. The council holds special meetings the second, third and fourth Mondays as needed.
